Bon voyage - Circomedia students are off to French training school

Three Circomedia students have been accepted by prestigious French circus school, L’Ecole Nationale des Arts du Cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois.

Reuben Hosler, Sam Charlton and Dorothy Hatcher are all graduates of Circomedia's BTEC National Diploma, with Reuben and Sam also having completed the One Year Diploma.

The course lasts for two years and aims to teach students good all round technique and creativity as well as allowing them to hone a particular skill.  Rosny is the "feeder" school for CNAC (Centre National des Arts du Cirque), France's top circus training centre, which offers a three year course which is equivalent to a degree.  After completing their studies at Rosny, Sam, Reuben and Dorothy will have the chance to go onto this further training at CNAC.

This is the first time that any English students have been offered a place on the course at Rosny, and is testament to the hard work and dedication that all three have put in during ther time at Circomedia.  It is also an excellent reflection on the teaching received at Circomedia, and we hope that future students will emulate the trio's success.
