This year Circomedia will, for the first time, be offering a two year foundation degree in Contemporary Circus and Physical Performance, subject to validation . This is a major step forward for circus arts in the UK and will mean that students will have full access to a range of funding options. Until now students on Circomedia's one year course have had to fund themselves. This new course will build on Circomedia's previous one year course which is renowned for its breadth and focus on circus arts in conjunction with physical theatre and performance techniques. On completion, successful students will have explored a full range of circus skills and performance techniques and be confident in devising new work and promoting and marketing their work. The degree is being run in partnership with Bath Spa University
