Circomedia offers an exciting and flexible range of circus skills workshops for schools which can be tailored to suit different Key Stages, abilities, locations, goals, budgets and timetables.

The sessions are always good fun yet are also of strong educational value, especially at encouraging co-operation, focus, creative thinking, information processing and team-work and by helping pupils to develop self-esteem, co-ordination, confidence, listening skills and trust.

Other advantages of circus skills training include that it:

• Involves physical activity but is non-competitive
• Often engages - and motivates - students who resist other types of learning
• Produces positive effects which are taken back into the classroom

If wished, schools workshops can be customised to support particular topics or subjects and/or rounded off with a performance by the visiting tutors – all them entertainers as well as experienced teachers and fully CRB checked.

To make the arrangements easier for schools, all of our workshops meet strict health and safety guidelines, are covered by Circomedia’s own public liability insurance, and we can supply risk assessments, if required.
