Founded in 2004 by Circomedia graduates, Ockham's Razor are now the UKs leading aerial theatre company. They aim to combine circus and visual theatre to make work that is arresting and entertaining.
PANGOTTIC CIRCUS THEATRE
Formed in 2008 Pangottic Circus Theatre consists of juggler, physical performer and Circomedia tutor Matt Pang and physical theatre performer and dancer Revital Gottshalk. They focus on intergrating theatre, movement, mime and circus.
THE PLAY PEOPLE
Founded in 2008 by their current artistic director Mike Bell. The company are creative producers of events, flashmobs and happenings. Thay also provide educational and teambuilding workshops in circus.
GREEN EYED ZERO
Formed by Rachel Pollard and Sebastien Valade in 2005. The pair met at Circomedia and their mutual love of innovative performance led them to create Green Eyed Zero. Intergrating contemporary circus, physical theatre and digital media they both challenge and stimulate their audiences through the use of unconventional theatrical methods.
Good Fer Nothing Circus
Set up by graduates Daniel Neale, Chloe Mantripp and Kate Dunsby. Good Fer Nothing are an in your face punk circus theatre company using live music, aerial juggling, poi, tumbling and slack rope.
Truan Jay Mathias
Truan now performs with fire and cabaret acts nationally and internationally as well as working with Can’t Sit Still. He is also a teacher with Organised Kaos Youth Circus in Wales.
Lucy performs and teaches a variety of acts from juggling to balloon artistry for a wide range of audiences and corperate clients.
Cold Turkey Productions
Graduates Mike McCallum and Chloe Mantripp set up Cold Turkey Productions a new and exciting circus theatre company who look at everyday life with a very cynical and darkly hilarious eye. As well as the company both Mike and Chloe have been performing aerial and acrobatics independently for festivals, venues and corporate clients.
Rachel is now an independent circus artists, performing aerial, acro, Chinese Pole and walkabout acts for events and festivals both nationally and internationally.
Chris Lawrence and Iona Godbold
Having worked as acro and aerial partners throughout their final year at Circomedia, Chris and Iona have gone on to further their training at Fonty’s Academy for Circus and Performance (ACAPA) in Holland.
Following his graduation Oli was successful in securing a business loan through a government backed start up scheme and set up the Oxford Circus Academy. OCA now teaches a mixture of acrobatics, tumbling and aerial skills on a weekly basis at four venues across Oxfordshire.
Sophie has spent three months in Dubai, Abu Dabi and Bahrain as an aerialist and burlesque performer with Cirque Le Soir. Since returning to the UK she has been working as a burlesque performer with a variety of acts.
Kate now performs and creates work with Good Fer Nothing Circus and works as an independent aerial artist for festivals and eventsacross the country.
Can’t Sit Still Circus Theatre
Can't Sit Still is an emerging physical and circus theatre company, creating new, devised, mostly outdoor work. We like telling stories, being silly, taking physical risks, playing, failing and trying again, being honest, being imperfect, pushing ourselves to the boundaries of what we think is possible and then pushing a little bit more. Thanks to ACE funding, Can't Sit Still's first full length show, 'A Small Chance of Showers', will tour to Street Festivals and events from summer 2014 onwards.
As well as developing work with new company Can’t Sit Still, Catherine is Circus Producer for Theatre Bristol and teaches physical theatre and circus workshops for a number of organisations, companies and festivals.
Mark graduated from Circomedia's predecessor Fool Time in 1988. Following this he toured with Snapdragon, Zippos and NoFit State Circuses, before working on the Millennium Dome show and more recently the Olympic Ceremonies. He has also worked on and off at Circus Space forthe last 20 years. He packed his trunk and ran away from circus 10 years ago and is now making videos and taking photos... of circus.
Caroline graduated from Circomedia's predecessing school Fool Time in 1987. Clown, teacher and author. For more than 25 years she's worked with clowning from the inside out and the outside in. She now lives in Spain and but works all over the world.
A Guiness World Record holding, freelance comic contortionist working with La Clique, Circus Oz and touring worldwide.
BOOM CIRCUS THEATRE
Established by gradutes Richard Casemore, Rachel Fox, Janine Mahon and Tom Hunt, Boom Circus share a desire to create new and exciting pieces of storytelling with original musical scores, acrobatics and phsyical theatre. Richard and Rachel are currently continuing their studies at the University of Dance and Circus in Sweden.
Founded by Ken Tanning and Tina Segner, Tumble Circus, turning circus on it's head. Their show 'This is What We Do for a Living' won the Adelaide Fringe Festival award for Best Circus show in 2012. They have toured extensively worldwide.
Al is the Artistic Director of Conflux in Glasgow, a founding member of Physical Theatre Scotland and a Creative Associate of The Arches, Glasgow. He also creates solo and collaborative work which drawn on clown, buffoon and mask work combined with original text.
Shana founded The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts in 2008 and is still Artistic Director there. The school is the only one of its kind in Philadelphia teaching both aerial skills and juggling as well physical theatre.
GONZO MOOSE THEATRE COMPANY
Founded by Circomedia graduate Mark Conway, Gonzo Moose Theatre is a popular stage comedy company, renowned for its accessible brand of improvisation, music, physical theatre and clowning. They have been receiving regular Arts Council Funding for their productions for 10 years.
Tom is a solo performer and playwright currently produced by The Bristol Old Vic. In 2010 he was invited onto the Royal Court Young Writer's Programme and invited back to join the Autumn Studio Group. He was also editor of Bristol's Venue magazine in 2012.
JILTED PIG CIRCUS THEATRE
Alice Ellerby & Becky Illsley formed Jilted Pig circus theatre. Thier current ACE funded production A Cosy Murder is to be performed as part of Circomedia's Autumn Season 2013.
Gonzalo is the manager of The Jugglers Association and director of The Carampa Circus School in Madrid, Spain.
Circomedia graduate Rachel Furlong is Director of Tumbellina International a troupe of international, professional acrobats touring worldwide some of whom are other Circomedia graduates.
Matilda is a performer and aerial innovator who has worked with different companies most notably the Royal National Theatre & Improbable Theatre.

China is a performer with Circus to Palestine in which she and another performaer travelled to Palestone performing 75 showsin 7 weeks in refugee camps, UNWRA schools, streets and parks.Performing to over 80,000 children.
