If you’re new to Youth Circus or returning after a break, you might find it useful to have a look at some of our Frequently Asked Questions below to find out what to expect.
What to wear?
Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in – normal sports clothing is fine. To avoid friction burns we suggest long sleeves and leggings if possible – or layers if you’re not sure! It is not appropriate for children to come in school uniform (school PE kit is fine). Wear trainers or plimsolls, although some activities are easier barefoot.
What should we bring?
Bring water and any medication/other equipment that your child might need such as an inhaler.
What happens on the first day?
When you arrive you’ll meet the Youth Circus tutors and office staff who will check you in and ask you (the parent) to fill out an enrolment form and medical form. If your child is coming with another parent on the day, please request a form from us in advance by emailing email@example.com.
Once you’ve filled in forms and checked in, your child will go into the space when it’s time for their group to start.
Can I stay and watch?
On the first day you can stay and watch. After this, please drop off children and depart promptly so that they can get used to being in the class on their own.
Is there anywhere to wait?
Portland Square: you’re welcome to wait in the undergallery ( remember to sign in and out)
Kingswood: there are picnic tables and grassy areas outside, but no indoor waiting space
Where can I park?
Portland Square: metered parking 24/7. Some adjacent roads are free after 5pm but can be busy.
Kingswood: plenty of free onsite parking

How can I communicate with the Youth Circus team?
