We are delighted to present…Circomedia Youth Circus in Frome! Working in collaboration with Avanti Park School, we’ll be delivering a small number of regular after-school and weekend classes during the Summer Term.
Previously, Avanti Park School has been lucky to host classes by Circus Stars Frome, led by Flora Alwen. Flora is now passing the baton to us and we are really excited to be taking on this new opportunity.
From June-July 2021 we’ll be running small classes on Fridays and Saturday mornings. We hope to offer a wider programme in September, but for this first term some of our younger classes are for Avanti Park students only. Friday classes for ages 10+ and Saturday classes are open to anybody, regardless of whether you’re an Avanti Park student!

About Our Classes
Our Friday after school classes are open to all levels – no previous experience necessary, but if they’ve done circus before that’s great too!
Students will work on two or three different skills per class – a mixture of aerial, acrobatics & tumbling, juggling and object manipulation, balancing, and more.
Our Saturday aerial classes are aimed at students who want to focus on specific individual disciplines such as aerial hoop or silks.
Beginners’ classes are suitable for students with little or no experience. Improvers classes are suitable for students who are confident working on their equipment unaided, have a basic repertoire of tricks that they can perform, and have worked on or are beginning to work on sequences of moves.
