What is Aerial Silks?

Aerial Silks uses two lengths of hanging fabric secured to the ceiling. Aerialists use strength and flexibility to manouevre the fabric into and out of various positions. Using counter-balance, strength and stamina, aerialists are able to wrap, suspend, drop, swing, and spiral their bodies in and out of the facric. The three main categories of tricks are climbs, wraps, and drops. It is a visually stunning discipline that combines elegance and grace with core strength.

What we offer

Our Aerial Silks Classes are an excellent way to develop your aerial skills and build confidence in the air.

We offer a range of Silks Classes to cater for all levels from beginners to more experienced aerialists. Our fantastic tutors encourage you to develop your abilities in a safe and supportive space. Some beginners may find it useful to have training in another aerial discipline in order to build strength and confidence, but our tutors are happy to welcome complete beginners to circus arts.

We also offer a class that combines Ropes and Silks.
