Our participatory programme reaches beyond our regular public classes. It allows us to develop innovative and diverse projects with a range of valued community partners. We work strategically with schools, community groups, local authorities, creative arts companies and a range of other organisations to bring circus, physical theatre and dance to people that may not otherwise access it. We believe that everyone – no matter where they live or what their background – should have the opportunity to unleash their creative potential and discover their passion for circus and performance.
Our work with schools aims to inspire the next generation of circus performers. We work in partnership with schools to build curriculum-relevant projects which develop pupils’ physical literacy, confidence and self-esteem.
Our education programme is developed in close collaboration with schools and offers a range of opportunities from circus skills and backstage tours to show devising, production, and performance. We offer pupils the chance to develop their critical reviewing skills. If you want to learn more about what our program can do for your school, or want to enquire about pricing, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office on 0117 924 7615.
For School Pupils
In addition to our work within schools we also provide work experience placements for secondary school students where they can discover more about having a career in the arts. Our BTEC course is also great way for your students to take the first leap in their professional circus education. If pupils simply want to learn and experience circus they can enrol in our Youth Circus, which runs weekdays after school times as well as providing week long summer camps programs on both the Summer and Easter holidays. In addition, school groups wishing to attend our performances can access special offers.
Circomedia has an extensive history of working with various communities. Through our outreach program we aim to reach as many people as possible, bringing not only performance but also workshops and the joy of circus to a diverse range of people, both young and old, from all types of backgrounds. Weather you are in our local communities or further a field feel free to reach out to us and see what we can provide to your area. Contact: email@example.com or call the office on 0117 924 7615.
