Pop-Up Circus Show Call Out

We are excited to invite circus companies to apply for a chance to showcase their talents in our Spring Pop-Up Shows at Circomedia on Thursday 13 & Thursday 20 March. This is a fantastic opportunity to perform in one of Bristol’s most renowned city centre venues.
Details
Show Dates:
· 13 or 20 March, 7:30pm
Brief:
· A show which is developed but it may be in its early stage of audience testing or it may be one you love and want another chance to perform – either is fine
· Open to established and emerging artists
· Performances suitable for all ages
· Shows that can fit within a 50 – 90 minute slot (we’d advise you have an interval if the show is over 60 minutes in length but can discuss this with you)
· Availability for at least one of the show dates (we are expecting that we’ll select one company for each date but are open to a different proposal)
· A technician will be available to support you
· Rehearsal space will be available on the day of the show
· Your show will be promoted on our website and in our social media and email marketing
Participants will receive:
· Fee: £600 inclusive of travel/accommodation
· 10 complimentary tickets for the company

1. A video of the show and a trailer if available
2. Confirmation of your availability for either or both of the show dates and whether you would like to rehearse on the day
3. Confirmation that the fee is acceptable

Selection process:
· Applications will be considered by our panel including Zannah (CEO), Maeve (Programme & Events Officer) & Ellissa (Circus Tutor & Marketing Assistant)
· They will be looking for a show that is affordable and works well as part of our current programme and for a Circomedia audience
Our panel will let all applicants know whether or not they have been selected for this project in due course.
