Our Youth Circus ages 11-18 classes are designed for both advanced students and newcomers to circus. We welcome everyone to get involved and you don’t need previous circus experience!
Having mastered the basics, our older Youth Circus students will develop their skills in juggling, acrobatics, aerial, walking globe and more. They will work on developing their own creative style to improve performance skills.
Students will learn the basics, build strength and confidence, and have fun exploring different circus disciplines. Our experienced circus practitioners will support and guide students to progress at their own pace.
The Toucans, Waxwings and Falcons groups are open to all abilities and you don’t need any previous experience to join – but if you do have previous experience, you’ll also be able to challenge yourself more in these classes!
Our Mynahs Performance Troupe on Mondays is currently by invitation only. It focuses more on performance skills and opportunities for students who wish to seriously pursue circus as a dedicated hobby or vocation. To join this class, you’ll need to demonstrate skill, commitment and focus. If you’re not quite there yet, our tutors will work with you to set personal goals and review your progress.
Many Youth Circus students also progress to study on our BTEC course from the age of 16.
We’re currently at waiting list capacity for all Youth Circus groups, and due to Covid-19 restrictions we cannot give an accurate wait time at the moment. To join our waiting list, fill out our online form.
