Circus in St. Paul’s
Saturday 2 May, 10am – 4pm
Join us in Portland Square this Early May Bank Holiday weekend for a fantastic, diaspora-led day of free, family friendly activities.
We’ll be filling the square outside our St. Paul’s Church venue with joy and creativity. With participatory circus and performance workshops and shows, and Caribbean food, music and more – everyone is welcome to come along, take part and enjoy the lively, celebratory atmosphere. Check back soon for more information and timings for the day.
Circus in St. Paul’s is presented as part of Diverse Artist Network’s DIASPORA! Festival. The day is being organised in partnership with Aid Box Community and will be led by, with and for people for Bristol’s wider diaspora community.

Tickets: This drop-in event is free to attend. No tickets are required!
Location: Portland Square, Bristol, BS2 8SJ – just outside St. Paul’s Church
This event is free to attend but if you would like to support Circomedia, we would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make. Donations can be made online or we will have donation points at the venue throughout the day.
Portland Square is a flat public square with a large grass area that is surrounded by a tarmac pathway. The ground can be uneven and soft in areas if it has recently rained. There are council-owned parking spaces around the square, and public benches placed at intervals around the outside of the green.
