Every year, our regular Bristol-based Youth Circus students come together to perform for their family and friends in a spectacular week of showcases. From our youngest students right up to our oldest teen performers, each group has the chance to perform the skills they have learned in classes to their family and friends, in our beautiful St. Paul’s Church venue.

Welcome to our BTEC students end of year show!

Somnium – where reality blurs with the realm of dreams. In this unique production, our graduating second year BTECs will demonstrate the range of skills that they have acquired over the last two years, taking you to the land of nod, navigating through the intricate landscapes of both dream and wakefulness.

We are proud to announce that our first-year FDA students will be premiering new outdoor work for the opening day of Bath Fringe 2024.

Catch them on Friday 24 May where you can see multiple pieces of brand new, highly skilled street theatre, for free, on the cobbled streets of Bath city centre. Four groups will be performing from high noon at various locations around the centre, with captivating acts that include juggling, acrobatics, clowning and more!

Out On A Limb – BA Pro Tour

Wired Circus, the Circomedia graduating class of 2024, are going on tour!

Join them at Circomedia’s iconic Portland Square venue to open and close their first UK tour and experience their brand-new show, exploring connection, relationships and what happens when boundaries break down and dissolve.

Community Open Doors

Back by popular demand, we are delighted to be hosting our second Community Open Doors event of 2024!

Come along to this free, family-friendly day in our home at St. Paul’s Church and enjoy a range of interactive activities including circus skills and music workshops. This event is curated by celebrated local creative Norman ‘Rubba’ Stephenson and hosted by Circomedia.

Welcome to our End of Year Show – an extravaganza of circus acts from our first-year circus artists, directed by our MA cohort.

The theme of the show is ‘Witness’, so expect work that deals with what it means to be watched, to be a spectator of an unforgettable incident, to hold an unspeakable secret, or to feel that you are under surveillance by the powers that be.

Celebrating LGBT+ Circus with Pride

Roll up, roll up, the Pride Circus is back in town! Join us for a spectacular evening in partnership with Bristol Pride as they put on a new show celebrating Pride, community, and circus. Prepare to be dazzled by thought-provoking contemporary circus from talented and inspiring LGBT+ performers who dare to challenge and amuse you with their exceptional skills.

Don’t Drop Me

Join Circomedia Supported Artists Jen & LK as they present a work-in-progress sharing of their three-women swinging trapeze show with experimental rigging, following a week-long residency with Circomedia.

The show will intertwine the agency of female bodies when women base and lunge each other within a traditionally heavily gendered circus discipline.
