Our Under 18s Aerial Classes offer specific classes in aerial disciplines for students aged 10-18.
Sundays 13:00 – 15:00
St Paul’s Church
Bristol BS2 8SJ
10 – 18 years
Booked in blocks of 4-7 weeks – see class pages for upcoming dates
Our U18s Aerial classes are separate to our regular after-school Youth Circus classes: you don’t need to be a current Youth Circus student to join, and current students are not automatically given spaces in these classes.
Due to small class sizes these classes operate on a first-come, first-served basis in the same way that our Adult Classes run – classes go onsale in blocks of 4-7 weeks at a time and you need to book for each block (you’re not guaranteed a continuing space).
Class dates will go online, along with a ‘booking opens…’ date, approx. 1 month before a block starts. This gives everyone a fair chance to go online when booking opens!
Beginners’ Silks, Trapeze & Hoop
Sundays 13:00 – 14:00
Beginners’ Classes are for students who have little or no experience in their chosen aerial skill. Students will learn the basics including how to mount and dismount safely, proper technique, and key moves. They will build strength & agility in small class sizes with the help of our expert tutors.
Improvers’ Silks, Trapeze & Hoop
Sundays 14:00 – 15:00
Improvers’ Classes are aimed at students aged 10-18 who have more experience in their chosen aerial discipline. They should be comfortable working on the equipment without direct assistance and have a good understanding of the basics (mounting, dismounting, proper technique etc). Improvers’ students will have a repertoire of basic tricks under their belt and will be starting to work on more complex sequences and moves.
