Our Flying Trapeze classes offer you the chance to discover this most dramatic aerial circus skill.
You could learn to fly at our spectacular venue in St Paul’s Church on the only indoor full-sized rig in the UK, or on our petit volant at our professional circus training site in Kingswood.
We run a range of day sessions, short courses and intensives for both adults and under-18s. These are across both our Portland Square and Kingswood sites, so please check the venue your class is taking place at before you book.

October Half Term 2025 – Petit Volant Sessions at Kingswood
These sessions give students the opportunity to try Petit Volant, Flying Trapeze on our smaller indoors rig.
This October half term we’re back with another opportunity for 8 – 18 year old’s to try the ultimate aerial experience, flying trapeze! These single class sessions are the perfect taster for children who have always wanted to fly through the air. Students will learn the basics of swinging on the trapeze, learning some starter tricks, and might even get a chance to throw their tricks to a catcher – all the while working in safety lines with our experienced Youth & Flying Trapeze Instructors.
Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can move in.

This three day courses is a great way for keen aerialists to spend significant time on our petit volant flying trapeze rig!
Our flying trapeze short course for 8 – 18’s is the perfect half term activity for those students who are keen to push their aerial skills to the next level. This 3 day course will offer students the opportunity to build on their aerial knowledge, learn new tricks and vocabulary, develop their swings, and work with a catcher to catch them flying through the air.
While it is open to all students, we strongly recommend that student have tried flying trapeze previously or have strong experience of previous aerial training.
Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can move in.

These sessions are designed for students to have a go and try flying trapeze for the first time. These sessions are suitable for students aged 18+, with no experience.
If you’ve already done flying trapeze, this session is not suitable for you.
Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can move in.

Grand Volant
We don’t currently have any sessions on our Grand Volant in the calendar. Follow us on social media and sign up to our email newsletters to be the first to know when we announce our 2026 dates!
These sessions give students the opportunity to try flying trapeze on our big rig within St Pauls Church. The only Grand Volant indoor rig in England!
These sessions are designed for students to have a go, or focus on a certain trick. These sessions are suitable for students aged 10-18 and are open to all levels – you don’t need to have any experience.
If you’ve already done certain skills, this is the perfect opportunity to try some more difficult tricks! With smaller class sizes and expert tutors.
Students should wear comfortable clothes that they can move in.
