The Rabbit’s in town again! More decadent, more hilarious and more astonishing than ever! After previous sell out seasons the current Decadent Rabbit ensemble is ready to bring its latest version of cabaret to Circomedia to astonish, amuse and entice you into their burrow of delights! Three performances over two nights of the highest quality cabaret featuring comedy, aerial, burlesque and juggling. A call to all cabaret comrades to dress up, come out and be part of a dazzling, sexy and fun night that will leave you a devotee of decadence.
Directors of the Decadent Rabbit, Alexandra Hofgartner and Rod Laver, have been at the forefront of the contemporary cabaret scene since their duo act first blazed a trail throughout European venues in 2012. They seek to create astonishing and thought-provoking cabaret shows that aim to combine circus, burlesque and ensemble performance. The shows are sexy, hilarious and always astonishing. Previous awards include: The Edinburgh Festival, The Paris Music Hall Festival and the World Juggling Championship. Some of the company’s highlights include: appearances with musical cabaret stars Meow Meow and Amanda Palmer and a night of variety at the legendary Wintergarten Theatre in Berlin. Despite national and international success, The Decadent Rabbit remains committed to developing cabaret in Bristol and the South West. Previous shows include the sell out Cabaret Paradiso and ‘Made In Bristol’ which showcased a cast of up and coming alongside established, legendary cabaret, circus and variety artists.
