Circus City: A Show of Hands – Tom Cassani

‘A Show of Hands’ is a short intimate solo show investigating Cassani’s relationship with his hands and the thinking that happens with and through them. A Show of Hands explores the poetics of a working relationship with playing cards, silver dollars, and palm reading through new text and old actions. ‘A Show of Hands’ presents a spectrum of magic ranging from card cheating demonstrations to mind-reading-like predictions.

The show will be followed by a Q&A and discussion hosted by circus and live-art performance maker Laura Murphy.
