Circomedia BTEC Students
Thurs 2 April 7:30pm
Stories are more than just a pleasant distraction. They help us to understand the world, they teach us right from wrong and keep us company when we need it most. Being able to tell one’s own story is a privilege. Listening to someone else’s is a necessity, for it is only by listening that we will ever understand each other.
Adapting Stories is the first experience of creating devised work for an audience for most of our first year BTEC students. The students have adapted well known narratives, presenting a unique slant on the story or stimulus. They have been working hard to combine circus and physical theatre; to choose music, lights and costume; to produce this performance.
